MERGER MARRIES EXPERIENCE, MARKET SHARE
TWO LONG TIME WHITEFISH REAL ESTATE FIRMS JOIN FORCES
(June 1, 2008) – Chuck Olson Real Estate, a respected long time Whitefish real estate firm, is merging with RE/MAX of Whitefish, one of RE/MAX International, Inc.'s successful franchises. The move will combine the strength of the most recognized real estate brand in the world with better service for the Whitefish community. "We're excited about this partnership," says Ken Stein, Broker/Owner of Chuck Olson Real Estate of Whitefish. "Both firms have the same goals and values, and we pride ourselves on our professionalism."
The merger will give RE/MAX of Whitefish a 35% share of listings in the market—the largest of any firm. "This is the only company we could consider partnering with," says Monte Gilman, Co-Broker/Owner of RE/MAX of Whitefish. "And it's a perfect fit. Ken and Cindy Stein have been in Whitefish for more than 20 years, and we have several agents who are long-timers as well. Experience sells homes."
With the merger, RE/MAX of Whitefish will grow substantially, becoming one of the largest in the area, and the office will have a specialized Transaction Coordinator on staff.
